The trick lies in the adjustable X‑shaped strap: either place it under the mattress and attach the wrist and ankle cuffs to the four connection points emerging at the corners, or hang it on the four corners of a door and use it in a standing position. Thanks to the very long, adjustable ends (108-350 cm), it can be adapted to any bed or door size, so it works both at home and when travelling. The four soft, padded cuffs can be quickly fastened with buckle adjustment, and thanks to the carabiner fastening they can be clipped onto the strap system in a single movement. With the 4‑point fixation the hands and feet can be spread wide - depending on whether you choose an intense experience in a lying position, or a visually striking scene standing up, across the door. How to use it

On the bed: lift or remove the mattress and place the X‑strap in the centre of the bed so that the four ends run out towards the four corners. Put the mattress back - the four strap ends should remain sticking out at the sides of the bed. Adjust the length of the X‑strap, fasten the cuffs on your partner, then clip the carabiners onto the rings on the straps.

On the door: hook the loops at the ends of the four straps over the four corners of the door (top loops over the top corners of the door, bottom ones at the bottom), then close the door so that the loops are secured. Adjust the length of the straps so that the rings line up with the height of the arms and legs.

Always agree a safety word in advance.

What to keep in mind when using the Bad Kitty restraint set

Safety word: agree a simple word in advance which your partner can use to indicate immediately that the set needs to be released.
Do not fasten the cuffs too tightly - you should still be able to slide one finger between the wrist/ankle and the cuff. Cutting off the blood circulation can cause injury.
Use only on a solid, well‑closing door: do not use on glass, thin interior, or poorly fitting doors - only suitably solid doors are appropriate.
Do not leave your partner alone while they are wearing the set - always remain available for quick release.
Caring for faux leather: clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth - do not soak in water and do not put in the washing machine, as the PU coating may be damaged.
Storage: store in a cool, dry place, preferably laid out flat - prolonged creasing can leave marks on the faux leather.
