Instructions for use
SVAKOM Bluetooth products can be controlled with two free apps (iPhone and Android): the SVAKOM App and the KooSync App. Pairing is straightforward with both, and you don’t need to register for most functions.
Step‑by‑step Bluetooth pairing (SVAKOM App):
- Download the SVAKOM App free from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
- Fully charge the product before first use - a weak battery is the most common cause of connection issues.
- Switch on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the SVAKOM App and allow the requested permissions (Bluetooth and location access, if prompted).
- Switch the product on and keep it close to your phone - the app will automatically find and connect to it.
- You don’t need an account for solo use. For Remote Control and Group Mode you must log in to enable secure sharing.
- Once connected, choose from the modes: Preset (pre‑set patterns), Music, Sound, Touch and Custom (bespoke pattern), plus partner remote control.
Bluetooth pairing with the KooSync App:
- Download the KooSync App to your phone or tablet; for a larger screen you can also use the KooSync Chrome extension on PC.
- Switch on Bluetooth, open the KooSync app, allow the requested permissions, then switch on the product - it will connect automatically within a few seconds.
- KooSync offers real‑time, zero‑latency synchronisation and also video sync: it matches the product frame‑accurately to interactive video content.
- Supports long‑distance play with up to 100 users, and can control or synchronise two products at the same time.
If the product won’t connect (either app):
- Check that the product is charged and compatible with the app.
- Make sure Bluetooth is switched on and that you’ve granted the app the necessary permissions.
- Close and reopen the app, and toggle Bluetooth off and on again in your phone’s settings.
- Disconnect any other devices that might be connected to the product, and don’t choose Guest access before pairing.
- If it still doesn’t work, restart your phone or reinstall the app.
Good to know: when you accept an incoming phone call, the connection may be interrupted - you can reconnect after the call. Most devices switch off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity. Group Mode and video sync work best with a stable internet connection.
Charging connection
The device is charged via a magnetic USB charger. The charging contacts are located beneath the control buttons - simply attach the charger.
